Trying to get a feel about this...

In your opinion guys, when talking about accessories (bracelet/earring/ring/necklace), for a tank, is it better the ring for HP, or the bracelet/necklace to up defense?

It just seems to me that even though 700K or so HP is a staggering amount, when things do a million DPS and more, it becomes quite small...

    This is quite debatable~

For example, Ricardo's T5 Dark revolves in having more M.DEF = More DMG buffs to all his ALLIES.... I quote "When HP goes below 30%, HP will not go under 10% for 10 seconds and all allies' ATK is increased by 50% of own (Ricardo's) M.DEF".

Another one is Demia, More P.DEF = more DMG output from her S2 (when upgraded to T-Perk) also Clause, "Deal ??? P.DMG based off P.DEF to enemies in range and knock them back."

And another example is Sonia, the more HP you have on her the more DMG she will deal because of her T5 Dark Perk 15% of her max HP is HUGE.

    So it really depends.~

Dont forget that the hp gained from ring is "base hp" which means it is added before each percentage based value. Usually you have 44% from gear lines and 30% from t1 perk almost doubling the amount you gain in the end.

Def increases are for specific builds/content/heroes, TheGreatWall has given some good examples. To add one, Black Dragon hard deals only physical damage (yes his breath is physical too) and you could use a bracelet there over a ring, but thats min-maxing on a high level and require lots of gear swapping.

Overall I´d say you cant go wrong with hp on a tank because it helps everywhere and having an interchangeable gear set if you happen to have more than one tank is not bad.
